About Us
Our Story
What began in 1982 as a small group with a shared vision to support students at Tolleson High School quickly grew alongside the district itself. With the addition of Westview High School, the organization became known as the Wolverine Knight Foundation, reflecting its expanding reach.
Today, the district includes seven high schools, and our mission has grown with it. In 2026, we proudly became the Tolleson UHSD Legacy Foundation—a name that reflects our commitment to serving every school, every student, and the entire district community.
In just the past two years alone, the Foundation has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships and student awards, continuing our tradition of meaningful investment in student success.
Who We Are
The Tolleson UHSD Legacy Foundation is a community-driven organization committed to supporting and investing in the students of the Tolleson Union High School District. Since 1982, we have partnered with families, educators, and local supporters to open doors of opportunity and empower the next generation to succeed.
Our Impact
For more than four decades, the Foundation has made a lasting difference in students’ lives.
-
Over 500 students supported through scholarships
-
More than $2,000,000 awarded in educational funding
Each scholarship represents more than financial assistance—it’s an investment in potential, perseverance, and future leadership.
Our Community
Our work is only possible because of the generous support of our partners, donors, and community members. Your belief in our students has sustained this mission for over 40 years—and together, we are building a legacy that will last for generations to come.
